     The Academic Council will meet in the last week of every month and review all academic aspects for the month under consideration. In addition the Committee will:

• Prepare Yearly Calendar of activities

• Recommend the dates and duration of Holidays

• Routine plan program of Summer Camp along with Housemasters Committee

• Formulate admission policy.

• Formulate student’s grading policy

• Recommend names of students for Cambridge Examination

• Any other duty assigned by the Principal

     The Discipline Committee will meet as and when a case is referred to it by the Principal.

     The Committee will meet in the last week of every month and review:

• Pace of teaching class wise/ subject wise

• Syllabi covered

  Checking of copies of students at random

  Notes given by the teachers

  Examination  -- internal and external

  Text-books recommended

  In-service training of teachers

  Extra coaching classes for weak students

  Recommend steps for the uplift of academic standards

     The Committee will meet in the first and third week of every month and discuss the following:

• Problems of the students

• Daily routine programme

  Messing

  Discipline of students

  Any other matter which needs attention regarding students

     The Committee will conduct Annual Drama (English, Urdu and Panjabi) and supervise the holding of the Gala that we wish to introduce as from this year. It will also organize other Cultural Activities including The Annual Mushairah.

     The Committee will:

a)      arrange guidance and counseling lectures for the students.

b)      contact Future Concern Associates, Lahore and other organizations for guiding students for admission in foreign universities.

c)      arrange lecture for induction in Armed Forces.

d)     falicitate students to fill forms for induction in Armed Forces.

e)  Any other duties assigned by the Principal.

     The Committee will supervise the planning and holding of all sports activities including Sports Day, Inter House Competitions, fixture with other institutions, purchase of sports equipment, grounds and delegation of supervision duties to other staff members. The Committee will meet as and when required:

     The Committee will plan and execute excursion trips for the students. The Committee will ensure that every student makes an education-cum-excursion trip at least once a year. Places to be visited, duration and dates will be discussed with the Principal:

     The Committee will plan and supervise the events concerning the staff. It will be responsible to organize staff picnics, dinners, farewell parties and also arrange the gifts for the staff on suitable special occasions:

• Arrange welcome/ farewell parties

  Arrange gifts on teacher’s marriages

  Arrange gifts for new born staff children

  Arrange staff picnics/ dinners/ high-tea

  Look after staff-rooms

  Tea served in the staff rooms during break

  Any other duty assigned by the Principal

     The Committee will:

• Supervise the collection/ compilation of articles written by students.

  Recommend articles for publication

  Compile/ collect photographs for the School magazine

  Supervise proof- reading and printing of School magazine.

  Supervise dispatch of School Magazine.

     Mr. Mujahid Hussain Shah will be responsible for the Newslink publish amd dispatch.

    The Committee will make sure that the School magazine is published by April of every year. This magazine must include an interview of Board/ Trustee member. To start      with, an interview with Begum Ghulam Jillani will be published in 2008 issue.

      Newslink will be published quarterly

     This Committee will meet in the third week of every month and will submit their suggestions/ recommendations regarding boarder to the Chairman of the Housemasters Committee. The minutes of the meeting will be presented to the Principal.

• 1. All Coordinators will write minutes of the meeting held and these will be submitted to the Principal within three days of the meeting.
  2. The Principal wishes that all members discuss all aspects freely.
  3. All members must put-in their suggestions/ recommendation without any fear. Any contribution towards the improvement of the School system will be appreciated.
  4. If in the light of the above deliberations, the Principal may enlarge the scope of influence of the Committees or formulate more Committees to facilitate the administration and well-being of the students

     The Committee is responsible for the all purchases in the school.
